What it solves
Running Estafeta shipments outside the ERP with their own permissions: whoever generates labels or requests pickups does not need access to the rest of the company's system.
How it works
Each label is entered directly, without depending on ERP orders, and stores the sender used as the origin, the date, the user and the destination. The system quotes, generates the label through Estafeta's service, saves the PDF label, groups labels without a pickup so they can be scheduled by shift (morning or afternoon) and checks their tracking until delivery.
Roles and control
There are 12 modules with per-action permissions (dashboard, quote, labels, pickups, tracking, reports, senders, packages, users, roles, settings and log) and three base roles: Administrator, Operator and Read-only. Every write is logged.
Carrier
This version works with Estafeta, through its direct account and its label, quoting, tracking and pickup interfaces. Cancelling a label is internal, because Estafeta does not offer a cancellation service. The ERP's shipping module, where the integration was taken from, works with Estafeta and FedEx.
Status
Version 1 in testing against Estafeta's test environment: it does not generate real labels or pickups. Going live depends on its own domain, a dedicated server and the carrier's production credentials.
